Women, Constitution and Idea of India

16 Apr 2021
Previous Next

What

The Constitution of India, under the guiding spirit of Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, based on the principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity has given Indian women the opportunity to challenge norms that keep them in subjugation. Though all that was visualized was not achieved, it opened up many dark areas of injustice against women and paved way to fight for a life with dignity. There are forces represented by the fanatic RSS and their  cohorts who attack this vision with their unholy alliance with, casteist, patriarchal forces. This can be countered with the united resistance of women.

To commemorate the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, Dr Maya Pandit, Professor and former Pro-VC at EFLU, Hyderabad, will be addressing a LIVE lecture on AIDWA’s Facebook page.
